La Cornue electric and dual fuel ranges require a dedicated 240V/120V split-phase electrical circuit capable of supplying the full rated amperage of the appliance without derating. Sharing a circuit with other high-draw appliances is prohibited and creates risk of nuisance tripping, conductor overheating, and long-term insulation degradation in the branch circuit wiring.

Circuit Specifications

La Cornue electric range models typically require a 50-amp, 240V dedicated circuit protected by a two-pole circuit breaker of the correct amperage rating for the appliance.
